“Beavis and Butthead” is an animated series that ran primarily on MTV between 1993 to 1997. It still has a large cult following and reruns air on MTV and Spike Television. The show is proof that it takes very little to make us laugh and could be considered modern slapstick merged with a good dose of stupidity. Its followers seem to be primarily male, and women seen to only recognize it’s stupidity to the detriment of it’s humor and genius.
