Sanjay Gadhvi is never known to make good films(Dhoom series worked because of stars, period) and the stars did not come to his rescue when he made the legendary flop of all times, Tashan. Sanjay wanted creative freedom to do things the way he wanted, which is why he directed Kidnap, without Yash Raj butting in. Sorry to say, but Sanjay Gadhvi has proved that Tashan’s flop status was not a fluke. view source
