The two main characters, a nerdy college student who stays out of trouble all the time (a very relatable main character really), and a fiery redneck who happens to be a zombie-killing fanatic (a person that we would like to be in such troubled times), had great chemistry and the contrast in personality created lots of memorable moments. Two “damsels in distress” they met along the way had great character depth and believable personalities considering the situations they were in.
