With Brothers, based on the 2004 Danish film, Brodre, director Jim Sheridan has crafted a potent domestic drama with powerhouse performance from its three leads and supporting cast. Tobey Maguire, Natalie Portman and Jake Gyllenhaal all give Oscar worthy performances and are the reason the movie is as good as it is.

Movie Review – Brothers
Three new movies hit theaters this Friday and Im looking forward to seeing them (as usual). First on my Go-See list is Brothers, starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Tobey Maguire, and Natalie Portman. Im really looking forward to seeing Tobey Maguire playing a dark and depressed role opposite of his previous comedic role as Spiderman. Next up on my list is Up In The Air if you can view it during its limited release this week (only released to 12 markets)
