While many of our 80s movie favorites go unappreciated by others (say, significant others, friends, family members, children, parents or spouses) their place on the movie shelf has been earned by more than sheer personal enjoyment. What many may have forgotten, or never known, is that some of our 80s favorites were Academy favorites as well!
